Ashley students shine at State Science Fair

The North Dakota State Science and Engineering Fair was held April 5 and 6 in Grand Forks.
Ashley Public School was represented by 17 presenters and 2 alternates including the first ever 6th Grade state qualifier from the school, Allison Engelhart. The students performed extremely well collecting 31 state awards from 15 individuals.
In the Southeast Central Junior Division Jackson Meidinger took 1st, Marshall Lindgren took 3rd, and Katrina Gojkovich took 4th.
In the Southeast Central Senior Division Kathleen Schmidt took first, Addie Schnabel took 2nd, Tanner Kempf took 3rd, and Nicole Schmidt took 4th. The senior division top 4 are going to Pittsburg Pennsylvania to represent Ashley Public School with the top 2 presenting their projects and 3rd and 4th being alternates.
