Fargo Assembly, which has occupied the former Lehr Public School building since 1997, will close later this year.

Steve Delzer, the Lehr location manager, says about 40 jobs will be lost in the process.

“We have employees from Wishek, Ashley, Lehr, Streeter and other surrounding communities,” Delzer says. “It's going to have quite an impact.”

The company produces electrical wiring harnesses and connectors that are used in industry, construction, agriculture and motor vehicles.
