April showers might be a good excuse for readers to pick up a book and spend some time reading, especially since it is School Library Month.

April even has a special week, April 9-15, designated as National Library Week, National Bookmobile Day on April 12 and Take Action for Libraries Day on April 13.

This month is also a good opportunity to show your support for the Ashley Public Library says Joan Overbo, of the Ashley Library Board.
