Word that Titan Machinery plans to close its stores in Kulm and Kintyre has put the company's Wishek location in the spotlight.

"Our store will remain open," said Don Hochhalter, manager of Titan Machinery in Wishek. "We hope to be in business here for many more years.

"Wishek is in a central location relative to Kintyre and Kulm. We hope to retain a lot of that customer base at our store."

Titan Machinery, an agriculture and construction equipment provider based in West Fargo, announced Feb. 10 that it will close the two area stores and a pair of other North Dakota locations at the end of March as part of a restructuring plan.
