The funeral for Ruben Aipperspach, 100, Wishek, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek. He passed away peacefully on Jan. 6 at Wishek Living Center. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek, Burial will be in the spring at St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery, Wishek, Ruben, son of Daniel and Anna (Schnabel) Aipperspach, was born Sept. 12, 1916. Ruben served in World War II, receiving the Purple Heart. He was a longtime business owner, member of the Wishek Lions Club, American Legion, and Wishek Golf Club, and a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church.
