Lillian Dempsey, 89, Wishek, died Friday afternoon, Oct. 7, 2016, at Wishek Living Center. A funeral service is set for 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13., at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek, with Rev. Kristen Schwan officiating. Interment will be in Wishek City Cemetery. Lillian Barbara Wishek was born July 31, 1927 in Wishek, the daughter of John H. Wishek and Lillian (Mielke) Wishek. She attended Wishek Public School and graduated in 1945. She then attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, graduating in 1950 with a degree in English and Education ... Frederick Donald Hilsendager, 50, of Woodridge, Illinois, passed away suddenly on Sept. 25, 2016. A graduate of Wishek High School, Fred was respected for his basketball and track accomplishments; indeed, some of his records are unbeaten to this day. He was a proud graduate of Fox School of Business, Temple University, in Philadelphia. There will be a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, Fargo, with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
