Tree trouble
Posted 10/25/17 (Wed) - by
Ordinance enforcement concerns were of primary importance at the Oct. 10 meeting of the Ashley City Council.
Council members discussed the need to have residential trees trimmed, with branches no lower than 12 feet above ground.
Low branches cause problems for the city workers driving through with equipment.
Approximately 150 letters were sent to Ashley residents about the issue. If city workers are forced to cut the trees, residents will be billed for the work.
