Things are shaping up in McIntosh County races for the June 12 election.

The race for Wishek School Board will draw a lot of interest, as former school board member Nathan Pinke is hoping to win a seat from one of two incumbents, Bruce Herr and Trina Schilling. The terms are for three years.

The race is especially compelling since, Pinke’s wife, Katie Pinke, was banned from the school in November after being accused of using abusive language toward a school administrator during a meeting about an incident in which a student brought a starter’s pistol to school.
