A healing service will be held this weekend for a popular area clergyman who has been diagnosed with cancer.

The service is set for 7:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 305 7th St. S., Wishek.

Father Wenceslaus Katanga, of St. Patrick's, recently learned he has prostate cancer. The cancer has spread to his bones and lymph nodes.

Organizers invite and encourage everyone in the area from all religious denominations to attend the healing service.

Father Katanga also serves St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Zeeland and St. David's Catholic Church in Ashley.
