The South Central Retired Teachers Association recently made a financial donation to Wishek Elementary School.

Association officials directed the school to use the money to purchase library books for elementary-age students.

Delmar Zimmerman, SCRTA president, said association members made a decision in May to disband.

It was decided to split the remaining funds in the association treasury evenly between the Wishek and Ashley schools, he said.
