The Haunted Warehouse, hosted last weekend by the Wishek Community Foundation, was a frightening success.

More than 220 people — many from out-of-town — attended the fund-raising event over three nights, plus a Saturday afternoon matinee.

The full show, which featured nearly 30 live performers in multiple rooms, drew rave reviews from those brave enough to enter the demented structure.

It is owned by Danzig Honey Co. in southwest Wishek.

Proceeds go toward a proposed renovation at the Wishek Swimming Pool and also will support other community projects.
