Approximately 200 people turned out for the annual Rodeo Soup & Sandwich/Pie Auction held April 1 at the Ashley American Legion Hall.

The event netted close to $8,000. Showing the pies and other things that were auctioned were the beautiful princesses, Hope Ebel, Miss Minot Y’s Mens; Adrianne Schaunaman, Junior Miss Rodeo South Dakota; Miss Ashley Rodeo, Tyler Hintz, and her sister, Toby Hintz, Junior Miss Days of 76.
