Wishek Area Dollars for Scholars has awarded 12 scholarships, totaling $9,700, to six graduating seniors in the Class of 2018 at Wishek High School.

Donors in the community and beyond have made this possible, helping young people reach their dreams in higher education.

The top scholarship is in honor of Douglas and Grace Herr, the couple who made the first major donation 25 years ago, and the award is for $2,000.
