A $500 donation has been received from a Bismarck man to benefit the Wishek Civic Center.
 
The gift was acknowledged by City Council members during their Nov. 7 regular meeting. It was given by Duane Aman, in memory of his wife, Agnes.
 
Agnes Aman was a registered nurse and worked for 49 years at Sanford Heath in Bismarck. She died of cancer on Aug. 22, 2015, at age 74.
 
"(Duane) wants the money to be used for something related to the Civic Center," said City Auditor Mary Wald. "He didn't make any specific stipulation, other than that."
