The Wishek School Board reviewed an updated weapons policy on May 14, that clarifies consequences for students, including suspension or expulsion, and staff protocol.  The proposal places the responsibility with the administration to decide the extent of communication about incidents based on their severity, for instance, a weapon isolated to a classroom may not result in a public announcement.
