South Border split a pair of volleyball matches last week, defeating District 6 rival Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock and falling to defending state Class B champion LaMoure.
 
The Mustangs traveled to Linton on Oct. 4 and posted a 3-1 victory over the Lady Lions. Set scores were 23-25, 24-12, 25-21 and 25-15.
 
Senior frontliners Morgan Schnabel and Amy Jacobson sparked South Border, with 13 and 10 kills, respectively. Schnabel completed a double-double, with 12 digs.
