Edwin Peter Wanner, 90, Fargo, died Nov. 12 at a Fargo hospital. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. today (Nov. 16) at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Chapel, Fargo. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the chapel. Edwin P. Wanner was born Aug. 23, 1926 in Wishek, to John and Magdalena (Raile) Wanner. He attended school near Wishek and Elliott, North Dakota. In 1944, Edwin entered the U.S. Army. He served in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre during World War II. In 1960, Edwin moved to Fargo, where he was employed as a truck driver for a West Fargo feed company until his retirement ... Jim Nagel, 68, Garrison, formerly of Bismarck, died Nov. 5 at Garrison Hospital. Funeral services were held Nov. 10 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Garrison. Burial was at North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, rural Mandan. James “Jim” Lee Nagel was born Oct, 11, 1948 in Kulm to Elda and Harry Nagel. Jim's parents divorced when he was a young boy. He grew up on the family farm, north of Lehr, with his mother and step-father, Theodore Erbele. Jim graduated from Lehr High School in 1966 and joined the Army. A year later, he married Blanche (Sayler).
