Ashley Medical Center’s new X-ray tech, Heidi Wells, is urging women to take advantage of October specials at AMC on breast exams, mammograms and PAP tests.

“What could be more sad than someone dying from breast cancer, when early detection with mammography could have prevented it,” Wells said.

Wells earned her Associate in Radiology and a Bachelor's in Medical Imaging Technology with emphasis in Mammography from Indiana University. She has performed more than 800 examinations in her radiology career.
